Secret Group Want to Sign Up?

One way groups try to get people to sign up and recruit them is to say that it is a secret group and only if they you select people are allowed to join. This tactic works very well for many groups to recruit members who are of higher caliber then they normally would be able to collect because curiosity attracts attention. This is a normal human characteristic and a known trait, yet you should not fall for such a BS maneuver or tactic when trying to recruit people for your group.

If your group is that great then spell it out and state why it is great. Because if you can't explain upfront why your group is so great and only that it is secret then I have a secret for you; I see through your BS. Generally most groups that say they are a secret group do have a secret and that secret that they must guard very closely is that there is no secret in reality.

Consider a certain religious group or sect and how they say that they hold the secrets. So what? Keep your litt le secret to yourself and see how good you do with recruiting the great members of our society and civilization in the present period who are beyond the superstar abilities. It does not do much good does it; all you have his losers in your group and your only secret is there is no secret.

And that my friends is no secret at all as a matter-of-fact it is chicken waste and pathetic, so you get no respect from me for your little secret. Take your secret and shove it up your rear end because that is where I think your secret is and what it is full of. Consider this in 2006.

3D Information vs 2D Images and Text

3D information is all around us; it is what we perceive our world to be. We then learn to decimate this 3D information into 2D images and text; this is what we learn to do at school, college, and university. However, this will not be necessary when the majority of the information is converted into a 3D database. Environment and realistic 3D models will teach, entertain, and replace the workplace and shopping, etc.

This change will be the major challenge for mankind in the next few years. Those who resist will be the 'architects of decay' as some learned person once said. Like all revolutions change should be managed as culturally we can't overnight change.

The changes will be momentous affecting all areas; engineering, shopping, architecture, education, communication, etc. Thinking in 3D will emerge and maybe a new language will eventually be required to create these 3D Virtual Real Worlds.

The present generation doesn't understand why this 3D world has not happened; as they have been brought up with this concept for the past ten years. Virtual humans and intelligence will help and enable inform us; making life much easier and able to take on more skills than ever before.

See web page Virtual Real Worlds' for a more detailed observation

Ken has spent most of his life in the 2D world and since the invention of the www with all its search engines for retreiving 2D information realised that the a new way must be found to understand all this information. This and other 3D challenges are to be found at http://Mellanium.com/ Ken has spent most of is time working on standardizing engineering processes; trouble was passing the information to others which proved to be impossible as nobody has time to read and understand information provided in text.

Human Politics is No Way to Run Such an Advanced Civilization or Species

Many citizens in the United States of America have stated that they believe that the politics are not good. And when asked directly what they think of politics many of them simply state; politics suck. That is truly unfortunate when we wish for every man and woman to vote in each election.

If people stop voting in the elections and they are not satisfied with the politicians then eventually they will take it into their own hands to do something about it and that could cause a civil unrest and perhaps even a revolution let's say in three decades from now.

Currently in the political climate many people are not happy, but they are not so overwhelmingly upset today to wish to take up arms. I am certainly not one to suggest a revolution or that we should destroy all that we have built and start over again, however many people believe we should start over again and get rid of the political structure as we know it today.

Why, because it is very corrupt and eve ryone knows it plus it is not working or helping the forward progression of our nation and quite frankly it is making us weak. Governments No. 1 job is to protect the American people, but they can't even seem to protect our own U.S. Mexican border from foreign invaders and millions of the legal aliens crossing over the border each and every year.

Human politics are no way to run such an advanced Species or great civilization and people are becoming more and more aware of this and something in the future must be done. Consider this in 2006.

The Earth Energy Grid

EARTH ENERGY GRID: - Sedona, Arizona is not only my own personal special place in nature - almost all spiritual organizations have conventions, churches or offices near all these vortices of earth energy and nature. There is a secret government base in a valley to the north and under a swamp some engineers found signs similar to the Nazca Lines and other natural spirit forms from ancient peoples. That was after a dry spell and I no longer have the article from a local paper to quote for you. Few people who aren't totally dead from the neck up can say there is no earth energy. It has a wavelength of 7.8 cycles and intersects in ways that make numerous things happen. Personally I think 'crop circles' that aren't made by debunkers like those who've found three different confessors to the Kensington Runestone, have something to do with the Earth Energy Grid. We will go into Ley lines and other related studies as well as 'Feng shui', later. For now, suffice it to say that the e arth can conduct energy as Tesla showed in Colorado Springs when he lit the town up in the early 20th century before J. P. Morgan shelved the design (after paying a cool million for it).

The work of Dr. Robins in solid state chemistry will be dealt with under that heading even though it has much relevance to this heading. His 'Dragon Project' endeavour is an excellent study from a scientific point of view dealing with the Earth Energy Grid. David Hatcher Childress has some good information as well. There is a growing awareness of the whole field now that science has seen the things energy does in vacuum and other structural lattices and templates.

It takes more than one book to do the issue justice for sure. Most people are becoming aware of the integrated impact of our Gaian Mother and nature, that astrologers and shamans have known for what reasonably can be called forever. What energy comes from the earth is just part of the overall consciousness that makes al l these amazing things happen around us. 'Amber rays' might be one way of describing the gravitational energy we saw being described earlier that is sent out from each atom or nucleus. There are those who can see these connections just as they can see our aura. I'm not one of these visually talented or gifted people, so I must operate in the feeling and intellectual spectrum.

When I read that the psychic surgeons of the Philippines and Brazil have had their energy measured during operations at the same vibration rate of 7.8 cycles it started me thinking of how we can alter our state and how others might perceive us in these altered states. Clearly if anyone could see all the spaces between our electrons and the nuclei or between the different atoms and molecules we wouldn't seem solid by a long shot. Thus these surgeons who use no utensils would be able to energize the infected or diseased body part or tumor to remove it at an altered vibration level. There have been s olid documentaries with such credible support as X-rays before a San Francisco businessman had such a tumor removed and X-rays a year later showing it hadn't returned. The video presentation was impressive but we all know the debunkers can show how to fake these things. In the end you must decide who has the most to gain from the arguments and whether or not you want to actualize your own potential. Once you do a few things the debunkers say are impossible - then a smile will come to your face; and the intellectual conflict loses all import unless you are stupid enough to try to write a book such as this.

String Theory knows about the harmonic forces that are less than solid which somehow combine to make what we perceive as a solid. The astrophysicists now have told us that 95% of the universe is 'Dark Matter' or Dark Energy - so get with it before you are invisible and don't know it! Just kidding! We just saw Dowsing dealt with in fairly credible ways by lots of respe ctable people who use the results and make money by it. Maybe you already know about the ray guns and EMF equipment being used in secret research or perhaps you thought all that 'Black Ops' stuff was a great fiction like the 'X-Files' or 'Star Trek'. If so you probably are only reading this because someone insists you do it. OK. Let's say you accept there is a magnetic element beyond gravity, or some other forces attributable to the massive earth (small orb hurtling through space that it is) we walk upon. The interference on your cell phone near large mineral deposits might be enough, to demonstrate some of this.

Why is there a 'Grid' or how can one understand what level of consciousness there is? The discussion then becomes as involved as whether or not you believe you have a soul and whether or not a simple dumping of our memory onto a Computer chip (Stanford 1999) is able to transfer or superimpose the soul on the consciousness already there. That conversation will inevitably get beyond the realm of provable science for those who follow the 'Toilet Philosophy' (If you can't see it, IT doesn't exist' or Wayne Dyer's You'll see it, when you Believe IT!). At the very least it should be allowable that there are different energies and some kind of overall way these energies interact in the bowels of the earth. That is enough to end the point at this juncture.

The Joys of Sorrow!

Participate joyfully in the Sorrows Of the world.

We cannot cure the world Of Sorrows,

but we can choose to live in joy.

- Joseph Campbell

One Of the greatest paradoxes Of all times. The Joys Of Sorrow! How can Sorrow be joyful? If it was joyful, it would never have been named Sorrow! I know, Im confusing you. But Sorrow is joyful too

Consider Life as a Piano The white Keys as happy moments The black Keys as unhappy ones But remember, the black Keys produce music too!

But don't take all black For Sorrow! After all, an elephant, or a black cat, have their good moments too ;) .

Life would be beautiful without Sorrow. But, if so, we lose the excitement Of each emotional upheal. Would you like to play a game with no challenges in it? What fun is there in tightrope walking, without a risk Of falling...

So dear Peace lover, enjoy your Life, take Sorrowful moments in the stride, Forget all worries, be happy, support a Peaceful w orld One last word, remember what Sree Krishna said to Arjuna :

Whatever that happened, is For the good

Whatever is happening is also For the good

And whatever is to happen, will also be For the good

Philosophy of High Noon

The movie High Noon has interesting comparisons to the philosophies and views of Kant. While many will say it can mirror the philosophers views, particularly through the actions of the lead character Kane, this paper will analyze the interesting and somewhat contrary view by looking at the actions of Kanes wife.

It is important to note first that Kanes wife is an emotional person. She is a religious woman, a Quaker to be precise, and chose this lifestyle after she saw her father and brother killed by guns. Her current viewpoints on guns, violence and personal involvement reflect her emotional side which Kant would clearly say as a weak point and completely differs from Kantian view.

Supporting her anti-Kantian ways is the fact that she focuses much on consequences. She does not see the act of killing simply for its act and the defensive purpose. She worries too much about who could and will die and not enough about why they would risk their lives to perform the act. Kant would say that she does not see the duty in the individuals action and rather is heavily focused on how and what this may lead to no matter how unpredictable it is.

On the contrary, it is also important to note that Kanes wife is an analytical person. She does rely on her reason to some degree to establish her own views on life. It is clear that she does not believe in killing because she finds it morally wrong in her religion, but she also analyzes the very human and mortal aspect of killing. She recognizes how worthless killing another man would be and that it would shatter all your moral standards in doing so. One may say she is merely acting in the teachings of God, but she has come to accept this at her own willingness and established these views after personal experience. Kanes wife is not just another religious fanatic protesting self-justice and mortal/civilized laws. She is a woman that has great self-respect and is able to transfer that respect amo ng all life so that she is clear of one thing: she can honestly and justifiably say that killing is wrong. She does have a strong moral basis.

By the end of the movie though, Kanes wife takes a drastic turn towards Kants Philosophy. She is able to set her mind free of worry and future analysis, and by doing so realizes the duty that she has of protecting her husband of him protecting her. She is willing to break her view upon kill to save her husband, though she does not break her moral. What she does is justified and a logical, moral act which Kant would promote for the simple fact that it follows the Ethics of Duty.

It is clear that the character of Kanes wife is a dynamic one. She stays moral and true to herself through the whole movie, but how she defines this or how her actions define her is what changes. Though she does not lose her emotions to fulfill any actions, she is able to in a way push them aside and let them not interfere. Kanes wife always had th e underlining rules for the Ethics of Duty, but it took a clear, determining act at the end to truly allow her to express what she had and already knew.

Logical Methods for Testing the Effectiveness of Artificial Intelligence Prototypes

Perhaps the most famous test of artificial intelligence is the Turing test, elaborated in 1950. As part of his argument Turing put forward the idea of an 'imitation game', in which a human being and a computer would be interrogated under conditions where the interrogator would not know which was which, the communication being entirely by textual messages. Turing argued that if the interrogator could not distinguish them by questioning, then it would be unreasonable not to call the computer intelligent.

There are several ways of interpreting and discussing the Turing test, which in effect all lead to the discussing of some key philosophical views on the Mind. Considering the Mind as an input-output device with the exterior world, the four mAin metaphysical takes on the Mind would have four different views of how the decision of choosing an appropriate output to a given input is mediated. The dualistic view on the Mind would see as responsible for this mediation the ri ght conscious experiences, the Mind-brAin identity theory would name the right neurophysiological mechanisms, functionalism the right procedures while the Behaviorist would not identify any. Accordingly, these four views would view the mental processes as phenomenological, neurophysiological, computational, while the Behaviorist would see the Mind as lacking any processes but just having qualities resulted from Behavioral dispositions.

What these four views state effectively about the way the Mind works can be explAined in an easier way, as follows. The dualistic view implies a certAin awareness of the self, of the past experiences and is probably the closest to imply a freedom of choice. The Mind-brAin identity sees the Mind and the brAin as a whole and as the only defining element of humans. All the processes of thinking can be explAined through chemical and biological reactions. Functionalism is the closest to the Turing test and to the most basic way we perceive co mputers. It states that the Mind acts as an axiomatic system and all the outputs are given as results of the use of the axioms and theorems present in the brAin. Behaviorism sees every decision made by the Mind as the choice of one alternative over another, where the preferred output is the response that has repeatedly been followed by a reinforcing stimulus.

We can see now that a method that would test the effectiveness of such a machine would be entirely based on a chosen interpretation of the Mind. Moreover, not only the test should be based on this interpretation, but also the whole way the machine is built. It is obvious that the Turing test is entirely based on functionalism because the way computers were built, especially in the beginning was based on functionalism.

Nevertheless, the Turing test has been severely criticized, especially by logicians. There has even been invented a counter-test, or experiment to prove its lack of validity. This test, the Chi nese Room Experiment, developed by John Searle has the mAin quality that assumes the premises of the Turing test, namely that the human Mind works according to theory that it has built in. Shortly, the test says that an English native speaker that has no knowledge of Chinese, is locked in a room and given a set of instructions and then two batches of Chinese writings.

When the third one is given, he is able to correlate one set of formal symbols to another set of formal symbols and thus, using the rules, he is able to give back certAin sorts of Chinese symbols with certAin sorts of shapes in response to certAin sorts of shapes given him in the third batch. Thus, the person would be able to communicate in Chinese, and convince the interviewer of his abilities, without actually knowing any word of Chinese. He produces the answers by manipulating uninterpreted formal symbols, but as far as the Chinese is concerned, he simply behaves like a computer; he performs computatio nal operations on formally specified elements. For the purposes of Chinese, he is simply an instantiation of the computer program. Searles conclusion is that computers can perform a program according to how they have been programmed but never understand what is actually that they are doing. Thus, there can be no discussion of whether the computer actually has intelligence or not.

Coming back to the idea of creating a new test, based on one or more philosophical interpretations of the Mind, the one that seems most probable of designing is the one based on Behaviorism. Indeed, the Behaviorist theory supposes that most basic responses are learnt and integrated into complex patterns by a process of conditioning. According to the Behaviorists, one of the mAin ways of conditioning operant conditioning supposed that a response that has repeatedly followed by a reinforcing stimulus will occur with greater frequency and will thus be selected over other possible responses.

< p>A Behaviorist machine would suppose that it is programmed in such a way that it identifies similar situations, meaning, it has introduced in it several types of causalities, conditionings and other similar types of relationships between one or several objects. Thus the computer will be able to relate the data he receives to these kinds of relationships. Later, the computer will be able to identify the kind of association he is asked to operate with when he will be stimulated. Now, suppose we introduce the computer to several events. The computer will judge the events described according to his pre-existent knowledge of relationships and will thus be able to identify which kind of relationship is addressed. He will then associate to every event a certAin kind of reaction to certAin kind of action. The one that occurs most often will then be judged as the correct one and thus the only one according to which the computer should act in the future.

Concretely, we have a c omputer, which we teach relationships like cause-effect, for instance. We provide the computer with some information, say, some stories from a newspaper. He will be able to identify among these stories the ones in which the relationship of cause-effect occurs. According to the comments in the articles, the computer will be able to identify which kind of cause generates which kind of effect. By systematizing the events, the machine will then be able to formulate a general situation that will allow him to say the appropriate reaction to this kind of event is this one. Therefore, when given a concrete event, based on his cause-effect resolution, the computer will be able to give a reply to that event.

To make the whole case even clearer, let us consider the case of ethics. The computer is presented several articles from the newspaper that describe crimes, the way they were committed and what happened to the delinquents. Even if some of these articles would say that the cr iminals were not yet found by the police, the computer will be able to judge that, for instance violence-which has been the theme in most of those articles- brings the incarceration of the criminals. The machine is now presented with a situation from an interviewer that presents a situation and asks whether he should act in a violent way or not. The computer will undoubtedly answer No.

Thus, the Behavioristic computer acts exactly as the Behavioristic person- by reacting to certAin stimuli. The whole question of a Behavioristic machine is not if we are able or not to build such a computer but indeed if the Mind and the human being is conditioned to such a simplistic functioning. Here, the question of free will occurs. No doubt that even human beings can be convinced using certAin stimuli that hey should act in a certAin way in different situations. In fact, this is the mAin theory manipulation works on. Still, it can be argued that as long as there is free will, man is not a purely Behavioristic being.

Summarizing, my essay started off by stating that if we want to create artificial intelligence we should first define what we understand through the human Mind, and identify a certAin mechanism through which it works. Then, I presented four different such mechanisms that describe the way the Mind works, corresponding to four philosophical views. I conjectured that any kind of test would presuppose that the machine was created bearing in Mind one of these concepts of the Mind. After presenting and discussing one previous such test, I have proposed an alternative one, based on the Behaviorist interpretation of the Mind.
